JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Kennesaw State men's tennis team fell 5-2 at North Florida on Saturday (Apr.7) at the UNF Tennis Complex.
 
UNF won two doubles matches and came out on top in three singles matches.
 
The reigning ASUN Player of the Week, 
Fermin Calvo Barcelo was able to beat Jefta Kecic 5-7, 6-4, 1-0 (10-3) to win his 11th consecutive singles match.
 
Harrison Wood picked up a win in three sets over Joe Ellis, 6-4, 5-7, 1-0 (10-5) to pick up his second win of the season at No.6 singles.  
 
The Owls (7-9) are next in action on Thursday (Apr.12) when it host NJIT for Senior Day at 4 p.m. on the Betty Siegel Courts. Seniors 
Corey Smith and 
Manuel Castellanos will be honored prior to the match.
