Set the program's single-season record for singles victories by posting a 20-12 record ... the previous record of 18 wins (18-10) was set by Simon Pritchard in 2014-15 ... fifteen of his matches were played at No. 3 (8-7) and he was 4-1 when playing at No. 2 ... was 14-8 in doubles, primarily at No. 3 with Sam Slade ... two-time ASUN Player of the Week ... provided the clinching singles point in seven of the Owls' 13 dual-match victories ... had won nine of his last 10 singles matches entering the ASUN Tournament ... won eight consecutive singles matches late in the season, dropping just one set in that streak ... Helped the Owls achieve a program-best 13-7 overall record.
Miami (2015-16)
7-15 singles, 0-3 doubles ... in ACC play 3-9 singles, 0-3 doubles … posted wins at the No. 4 position (3-9), No. 5 spot (2-3) and No. 6 (2-1), was 0-3 at the No. 3 spot … two consecutive victories in matches against Michael Sienko in the No. 6 position (Army) and Jordan Hart (Davidson) at the No. 5 … tallied three ACC victories against opponents Alexandre Thirouin (Boston College), Andrew Li (Georgia Tech) and Igor Saveljic (NC State) all in the No. 4 position … only appeared in four doubles matches, one of which was unfinished.
PERSONAL: Son of Cipriano and Agustina ... coached by his father, who has coached various players to the ATP Tour, including Carlos Berlocq (as high as No. 37 in ATP), and many others... played for Eduardo Rincon's brother, Mario, at Miami... majoring in economics.
