KENNESAW, Ga. –
Kendrick Ray was named MVP in Czech Republic-NBL in his first season playing overseas. Last season, he played in the highest division in the Czech Republic.
Ray's team was Cez Nymburk and he posted 14.9 points per game shooting 58.8 percent from the floor in only 19 minutes per game. He also averaged 4.2 rebounds per game and 2.8 assists per game.
In his two seasons playing for the Owls, he became the first KSU player ever named ASUN First Team All-Conference after averaging over 21 points per game his senior season. He set Kennesaw State's single-season scoring record in both seasons he played.
