Game Preview
Kennesaw State will close out the regular season at Howard in Washington D.C. on Sunday, April 29.

The Owls are 6-10 overall and are 2-2 in ASUN play. They clinched a berth in the ASUN Championship down in Jacksonville on May 3 with the win over Stetson.

With a victory over Howard, the Owls will be the three seed in the tournament and will play Coastal Carolina.

Kennesaw State Team Notes
• Kennesaw State clinched its spot in the ASUN Championship with a big 19-16 win over the Stetson Hatters on the road on Friday. The Owls trailed by four goals at halftime and outscored Stetson 13-6 in the second half to seal the comeback.
• With a victory over Howard, it would make KSU 3-2 in ASUN play. That would be the first time in program history that Kennesaw State has had a record over .500 in conference play.
• Leading goal scorer Siena Gore had a huge second half against the Hatters scoring six of her seven goals in the game to assist with the comeback. For the season, she has 64 goals and just needs four more to break the single-season ASUN record.
• Along with being close to breaking the goals conference record, she has already broken the record for draw controls and is on pace to break the draw controls per game and goals per game ASUN records.
• Gore isn't only leading the conference in a bunch of categories, but she's also one of the best in the nation in goals per game, draw controls per game and free-position goals per game. She is second in the country in free-position goals per game, seventh in the country in goals per game and 10th in the country in draw controls per game.
• Kennesaw State dropped its game to Jacksonville, but scored the most goals ever against the Dolphins with eight.
• Everyone chipped in on the comeback against the Hatters, but Haley Swift totaled four points with one goal and three assists. Abby Squires was also big on the offensive end scoring a season high three goals. Two of them came at the very end to put the game out of reach.
• A big reason for the team being successful at draw controls has been Squires. She is second on the team with 44 draw controls, but she's also very successful in directing the ball Gore's way who has 109 draw controls.
• Earlier in the season, Swift became the fifth Kennesaw State player to reach the 100-career point mark.
• On the season, the Owls have caused 138 turnovers. Gore leads the team with 22, but five Owls total have accumulated double digit caused turnovers on the season.
