THE STORYLINE:
· Kennesaw State got a good pitching performance from Brooks Buckler, but FGCU also got a great start from Josh Dye as the Owls dropped the second game of the series to the Eagles 3-0 in Fort Myers, Florida.
 
Buckler went 7.0 IP and only allowed two runs. He also stranded nine FGCU base runners.

HOW IT HAPPENED: 
· There were six scoreless innings for both sides with Buckler stranding nine FGCU base runners, but the Eagles finally broke through in the bottom of the seventh when they got two runs.
· The Owls had four hits on the afternoon with four different players each having one hit.
· Kennesaw State got runners to second base in the first and fourth innings, but couldn't come up with a hit to score.
· This is the second time this season that Kennesaw State has been shutout.
