THE STORYLINE:
· Kennesaw State fell to ACC opponent No. 8 Clemson 9-4 on Tuesday, April 24 during a midweek clash.
 
The Owls had a tough time getting their bats going, but Tyler Simon led the Owls with 2 RBI in the game.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED: 
· After Clemson took an early lead, the Owls came back with two runs in the third inning to cut the Tigers lead in half.
· After Clemson pushed their lead back to four, Kennesaw State manufactured two more runs with a Simon groundout and Grant Williams reaching on a throwing error.
· The Owls loaded the bases in the seventh with one out to try and cut into Clemson's lead, but KSU couldn't get any runs across home plate.
