THE STORYLINE: 
· Kennesaw State clinched the series sweep with a comeback in the second game of a double header by scoring four runs in the bottom of the eighth inning.
· Jake Franklin had a huge day at the plate going 6-9 with three home runs and 7 RBI.

GAME 1  
·  RHP Brooks Buckler worked an impressive 7.1 innings on the day, allowing four earned runs (five total) on three hits.
· After both teams got on the board in the first inning with one run each, the Owls took the lead in the third off of a three-run home run by Franklin.
· UNF came back to tie the score in the eighth, but the Owls responded with four runs of their own behind a David Chabut sac fly. Then, Tyler Simon doubled and Grant Williams homered to put up four runs in the bottom of the eighth.
· Jake McLinskey recorded the win by going 1.1 innings pitched.
· The Owls outhit North Florida 13-3 in the game.
· In every inning that UNF scored in, Kennesaw State came back with an answer of their own to secure the 10-6 win and the series.
 
GAME 2 
· North Florida held the lead all the way until the bottom of the eighth inning when KSU pushed four runs across the plate to take the game 7-5.
· Franklin had a monster game at the plate going 4-4 with two home runs and three RBI.
· Trailing by two or three runs most of the game, Kennesaw State started chipping away with one run in the seventh and then exploded in the eighth for the four runs to make the Owls record 21-15 and to give them a 7-2 record in the ASUN.
· In relief, Ryan Kennedy got his second victory this week and Deviner McCray got his second save of the season.
· In both games, Kennesaw State scored four runs in the bottom of the eighth inning.
 
UP NEXT
The Owls will travel to Atlanta to take on Georgia Tech on Wednesday, April 18. First pitch is at 6 p.m.
