 The Kennesaw State men's tennis team picked up a come from behind win at Jacksonville State on Wednesday afternoon. The Owls defeated JSU 4-3 on the JSU Tennis Courts.
The match featured a pair of teams that were on a roll entering play. JSU entered with a six-match winning streak, while KSU entered having won three in a row. Bryan Triana knocked off Sergio Lizarraga and Pablo Caffarena, 7-6. JSU would answer the Owls taking the final doubles match to take the doubles point.
In singles action, The Owls got on the board first asÂ
Drew Lahey beat Sergio Lizarraga at No.5 singles. The Gamecocks answered winning two singles matches to grab a lead 3-1 lead. The resilient Owls never gave up though.Â
Fermin Calvo Barcelo would get past Ajaz Kaplja, 7-5,6-4 at No.1 singles.Â
Bryan Triana beat Guillermo Agost, 7-6, 7-5 at No.4 singles to tie the teams at 3-3.Â
Corey Smith sealed the win for the Owls defeating Joaquin Vallejo, 7-5, 2-6, 7-5 at No.3 singles.

The Owls return to action at home on Sunday, March 18 when they will take on South Carolina State at the Betty Siegel Courts beginning at 11 a.m. Admission is free.
