KENNESAW, Ga.-The Kennesaw State men's tennis team rolled to its third straight win on Sunday. KSU (3-5) took down Austin Peay 7-0 on the Betty Siegel Courts in Kennesaw.
 
"We got off to a slow start in doubles, but Fermin and Lucas were able to help us clinch the doubles point again," Director of Tennis Eduardo Rincon said. "In singles, I thought we played a clean match. All six of our guys took care of their business."
 
The Owls took early control of the match winning the doubles point for the fourth straight match. Corey Smith and Bryan Triana took down Evan Bottorff and Timo Kiesslich, 6-2 at No.3 doubles and Fermin Calvo Barcelo and Lucas de Torres Curth got by Almantas Ozelis and Aleh Drobysh , 6-4 at No.1 doubles to clinch the point. 

In singles action, Bryan Triana knocked off Timo Kiesslich, 6-2, 6-3 at No.4 singles. Moments later, Drew Lahey defeated Jacob Lorino, 6-0, 6-2 at No.5 singles. At No.6 singles, Harrison Wood was able to get past Chad Woodham in three sets, 6-2, 0-6, 6-3 to clinch the match. Fermin Calvo Barcelo rolled past Almantas Ozelis, 6-4, 6-4 at No. 1 singles. Corey Smith would grab a win over Aleh Drobysh, 6-3, 6-7, 10-4 at No.3. The reigning ASUN Men's Tennis Player of the Week, Lucas de Torres Curth continued his strong play beating Christian Edison, 6-3, 6-7, 10-5 at No.2 singles.

The Owls will travel to Jacksonville, Al. to take on Jacksonville State on Wednesday, March 7. First serve is set for 12 p.m.
