THE STORYLINE:
· Kennesaw State got 14-11 road win at Central Michigan on Saturday, March 31.
 
Connor Zophy had her best offensive game of the season leading the way with five goals, but the Owls as a whole on defense caused 15 of Central Michigan's 25 turnovers on the day.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
· The two teams traded goals early each taking turns grabbing a one-goal lead until Kennesaw State went on a 4-1 run going up 7-5.
· Central Michigan got one goal back before halftime, but the Owls led 7-6 as the teams went to the locker room.
· Kennesaw State came out in the second half and went on a 6-1 run to take a commanding 13-7 lead behind two goals from Connor Zophy and Siena Gore.
· Central Michigan tried to make a late run, but the lead for the Owls was too much and KSU locked up its second road win of the season.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
· The win over Central Michigan was the second road win of the season for Kennesaw State. It gave the Owls a split on the road this weekend.
· Zophy had a season high with five goals to lead the Owls. Gore was right behind her with four goals scored, giving her nine scored in both games.
· Gore, Abby Squires and Izzy Palermo each caused three turnovers to lead the midfield. In all, the Owls caused 15 of Central Michigan's 25 turnovers.

UP NEXT
Kennesaw State will head home for a four-game stretch at home where they will first host Wofford on Friday, April 6 at 5 p.m.
