THE STORYLINE:
· AJ Moore pitched a masterful game in the ASUN opener against USC Upstate leading Kennesaw State to a 9-4 win over the Spartans on the road.
· The Owls offense got off to a slow start, but once they got to USC Upstate's bullpen, they scored nine runs to get the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
· USC Upstate scored first in the fourth inning taking a 2-0 lead.
· After tying the game in the sixth, the Owls had a four-run inning in the seventh to take a 6-2 lead and have some breathing room. Jake Franklin doubled to right field to clear the bases for the Owls to get the four-run lead.
· KSU added three more runs in the night to reach the nine-run mark for the sixth straight game.
