Second Game in a Row Scoring 20-Plus Runs Against Grambling

THE STORYLINE: 
· Kennesaw State's bats stayed hot against Grambling State posting 20-plus runs for the second game in a row winning 23-6 on Saturday, March 24 at Stillwell Stadium.
· It was the second time in program history the Owls have scored 20-plus runs in back-to-back games. The first time came in 1994.
· Counting these past two games scoring over 20 runs, the Owls have scored 20 runs four times during the DI era.

HOW IT HAPPENED:   
· The Owls got off to a fast start taking a 7-0 lead after the second inning. Griffin Helms powered the fast start with three RBI including a homerun to left center.
· The Owls continued to surge on offense plating 10 runs in the third inning to stretch out their lead to 17-0.
· Over the next two innings, Kennesaw State added three more runs to reach the 20-run mark for the second day in a row. They finished up with 23 runs for the game outscoring the Tigers 23-6.
· Brook Buckler pitched 5.0 innings giving up one run on six hits.
· Kennesaw State posted 23 runs on 25 hits. Terence Norman and Tyler Simon led the team with four RBI each. The two combined to go 7-8.
· Simon was a home run away from hitting for the cycle against Grambling State. In his first three at bats, he had a single, double and triple.

Premium home games ($10) include: North Florida (April 13), Lipscomb (April 20), Georgia State (May 8), Georgia Southern (May 9) and Clemson (May 15), and are priced $10 for single-game tickets.
