Kennesaw State hosts Quinnipiac on Wednesday, March 14 at 2 p.m. in Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
The Bobcats are 3-3 on the season with the Owls sitting at 1-5.
This will be the first meeting between the two teams.
Kennesaw State Team Notes
•
Siena Gore is averaging 4.33 goals per game and leads the team with 26 on the year. The 4.33 number is the fifth best in the country. She's also in the top 10 nationally in draw controls. Gore wins 7.17 per game ranking ninth in the country. She had a career high with 10 draw controls against Winthrop.
• Gore is deadly on free-position attempts. She scores the second most in the country scoring 2.5 per game.
• Kennesaw State has been successful at winning draw controls this season. They are 22nd in the country averaging 14.67 draw controls per game. The lowest amount they have had all season is 12 in the first game against Arizona State and the most they have had in this season is 17 in the win against ECU.
• The Owls are 37-71 on free-position attempts. Their 52.1 percent ranks 18th in the country.

Izzy Palermo is second on the team with 13 goals. She has scored in every game this season and has scored multiple goals in five of the six games. She had a big game on the offensive end against ECU scoring four goals matching a career high for the sophomore. Two of her goals came late and pushed the Owls into the lead for the final time to help seal the first victory of the season.
• The bench came up big for KSU against Winthrop. They scored five of the team's fifteen goals.
Emily Napierala and
Anna Giulitto scored two goals each and
Taylor Catts had a goal as well. In all, the three players accounted for seven points against the Eagles as Giulitto and Catts each had assists as well.

Haley Swift made her return to the lineup against Winthrop and scored an early goal to give Kennesaw State a 2-0 lead. For the season, the junior has nine points with six goals and three assists.
•
Marissa Gore has seen action in three games for the Owls and has made a difference with three goals and two assists. She got her first career start against Winthrop.
• The game against Quinnipiac is the last non-conference home game for Kennesaw State. They will finish their non-conference slate at Duke before beginning ASUN play.

The Owls will head to Duke to play the Blue Devils on Monday, March 19 at 3 p.m.
