Clinton, S.C. –The Kennesaw State men's tennis team came up just short in a tight match 4-3 to Presbyterian at Templeton Courts on Friday afternoon.

"We played another hard match today," Director of TennisÂ
Eduardo Rincon said. "Our guys competed and represented KSU really well on the road. On the tennis side, we let some key opportunities to get away, but that is tennis for you. "
The Owls took early control of the match winning the doubles point. Â
Fermin Calvo Barcelo and
Lucas de Torres Curth topped Alexander Lykou and Brandon Mills, 7-6 at No.1 singles and
Drew Lahey and
Bryan Triana beat Will Baird and Daniel Stenger, 6-4 at No.3 singles.
In singles action,
Lucas de Torres Curth came back from a set down to knock off Brandon Mills, 5-7, 6-1,6-3 at No.2 singles. Freshman Brian Triana picked up a win over Jaime Castillo-Lopez, Â 7-5, 6-4 at No.4 singles.
The Owls will return to action on Saturday (Feb.24) at Wofford at 11 a.m.Â
