Scouting Lipscomb
Lipscomb has had a great season so far and is starting to peak at the right time. They sit at 19-9 overall and have locked up the two seed in the ASUN tournament after defeating Stetson and FGCU last weekend.
They're currently on a four-game winning streak heading into the final game of the regular season.
Garrison Mathews leads the ASUN averaging over 21 points per game and had a big day the last time these two teams faced off scoring 43 points in the Convocation Center.
Casey Alexander is the head coach of the Bisons.
Double Digit Wins
With the win against FGCU, Kennesaw State has reached the 10-win mark for the fourth straight season.
Before this stretch of four straight seasons with at least 10 wins, KSU hadn't won double-digit games for four seasons dating back to the 2009-10 season.
Snapping Streaks
After defeating FGCU in Alico Arena, Kennesaw State snapped a 15-game losing streak to the Eagles.
In the three seasons since Skinner has been the head coach, he has snapped double-digit losing streaks to Lipscomb, North Florida and FGCU.
Masterson Shoots at a High Percentage
Nick Masterson hasn't only been one of the best shooters in Kennesaw State history, but he's one of the greatest in ASUN history.
He is second all-time in career three-point field goal percentage making 46.9 percent.
This season has been no different as Masterson is making 54.2 percent of his threes, which is the best mark in the country according to KenPom.com. Last weekend, he went 4-6 from behind the arc against FGCU and Stetson.
He shoots 88.6 percent from the free throw line and has only missed eight attempts all season.
When you combine his shooting percentage on two-point field goals, three-point field goals and free throws, Masterson has a total shooting percentage of 69.7 percent. That is the fourth best mark in the country.
Scott Fuels the Offense
James Scott has been explosive on offense at times this season helping the Owls reach double-digit wins for the fourth straight season.
He is fourth in the ASUN averaging 16.9 points per game. The sophomore guard has posted two 30-point games this season and was huge scoring 27 against FGCU.
He has scored in double figures in 22 games and has posted nine 20-point performances.
