Bohannon announced on Wednesday that 20 players have signed National Letters of Intent during the December early signing period to join the Owls for the 2019 season.

Bohannon on the December signing class
"We are thrilled about this group of young men that have joined our program. This is the biggest class we have ever signed during the December signing period and these young men are dynamic and will be a great fit for our program. We certainly answered some depth concerns we had going into next season and we look forward to getting all these new Owls on campus."
Bohannon on the offensive line
"We have answered some depth issues on the offensive line. We have some high school signees that are big and athletic and some transfer offensive linemen that bring some experience to a position where we just lost four starters."
Bohannon on the offense
"From an offensive skill perspective, we couldn't be more excited to get two very athletic quarterbacks in the program. Both of these young men possess great speed, arm strength, and fierce competitiveness. At running back, we have two really fast and athletic guys that can catch the ball. We also have two bigger more physical guys that can get you positive yards after contact. At wide receiver, we have added someone that not only possesses great hands and speed, but someone who will be physical out on the perimeter."
Bohannon on the Defense
"Defensively, this group consists of guys who are fast, physical, and tough. On the defensive line, we have added some players that can rush the passer but still be a physical presence on the line of scrimmage. On the back end, we brought in some older guys to help with the depth at both safety and corner as well as one high school player who displays the ability for being multi-positional."
KSU's Unprecedented Success
In just four years, Kennesaw State football has turned into a national powerhouse, earning the No. 4 overall seed in the 2018 FCS Playoffs. The Owls have won back-to-back Big South Conference championships and made consecutive quarterfinal appearances in the FCS Playoffs.
With an overall record of 37-12,
Bohannon guided KSU to the second-most wins by a Division I start-up program since 2008, sitting only behind Old Dominion's 38 victories in its first four seasons. The Owls are the only start-up team in their first four years to put together two separate 10-game winning streaks.
KSU has been unstoppable at home and had the third-longest home winning streak at 15 games entering the quarterfinals of the FCS Playoffs. The Owls are 22-4 all-time at Fifth Third Bank Stadium in four seasons of competition.
