What's on The Line?
The Owls (12-5-1, 5-3-0), the tournament's No. 3 seed, are seeking a third consecutive appearance in the ASUN semifinals and an opportunity to play No. 2 seed NJIT in a semifinal match Sunday at 1 p.m. North Alabama (9-8-1, 3-4-1) is the No. 6 seed.
Â
Kennesaw State in ASUN Championship
The Owls have an 8-8-3 all-time record in the ASUN Championship and captured titles in 2007 and 2009. KSU has reached the semifinals nine times, the finals on three occasions, and last reached the championship match in 2014.
Â
Quoting Head Coach Benji Walton
"We want to redeem ourselves. We felt like we left some goals on the field against North Alabama earlier this season," Walton said. "They are talented and have as a good a front four of anyone we've seen all year. We have to come prepared and be ready, and I think we will."

Week in Review
With a share of the ASUN Conference regular-season title and the No. 1 seed to the conference tournament on the line, Kennesaw State battled Lipscomb into overtime before falling, 1-0, Sunday at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. The win gave Lipscomb the regular season title and No. 1 tournament seed.
Â
After an evenly played first half, the Owls dictated the tempo in the second half, playing in the Lipscomb half of the field a majority of the time, finishing the period with a 12-3 shot advantage. Kennesaw State and Lipscomb battled back and forth for the first seven minutes of overtime before the Bisons found an opening on the left side of the goal when Maycie McKay received a ball from Olivia Doak and scored the game-winner at the 97:47 mark.
Scouting North Alabama
The Lions (9-8-1, 3-4-1) are winless in their last three contests and are coming of a 0-0 draw at NJIT on Sunday. Junior midfielder Shelby Wall leads North Alabama and ranks second in the ASUN with 23 points and 11 goals. She is also tied for first with nine assists. Head coach Chris Walker is in his sixth season leading the Lions and has compiled a 67-35-8 record.   Â
