KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State football team continued its rise during the bye week, becoming the unanimous No. 2 team in the country in the most recent AFCA Coaches' and STATS FCS polls.
 
Despite an idle week, the Owls remained among the top FCS teams in the nation, leading the Big South and ranking second in the country for rushing offense (377.0) and scoring offense (48.1), while sitting fifth in FCS for scoring defense, allowing just 12.4 points per contest.
 
Quarterback Chandler Burks continued to pace the country in rushing touchdowns, leading all FCS and FBS players with 17 rushing scores this year.

The Owls hit the road this weekend, traveling to Charleston Southern on Saturday for a 6 p.m. kickoff on ESPN+.
