Game Preview
A share of the ASUN Conference regular-season title, opening-round bye in the postseason tournament and a home playoff match may all be on the line when Kennesaw State concludes its regular season with a home contest versus Lipscomb on Sunday. Kickoff is 6 p.m. at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.

The Owls, who are ranked eighth in the South Region, have clinched an ASUN Championship berth and are seeking their first conference regular-season title since 2009.

Lipscomb (11-4-2, 6-1-0) sits atop the ASUN Conference with 18 points and has clinched a share of the regular-season title. KSU and NJIT (11-4-1, 5-2-0) are tied for second with 15 points. NJIT closes out its regular season with a 1 p.m. home match versus North Alabama (9-8-0, 3-4-0).

Kennesaw State had its four-match winning streak snapped last Saturday, falling 2-1 to NJIT in Hillside, N.J. The Owls wasted little time scoring, producing a goal at the 2:53 mark as Erin Harris took advantage of a mishandled ball by the Highlanders and found an opening in the net. NJIT answered with the equalizer as Fiona Wright scored the first of her two goals at the 18:19 mark. The two teams went into halftime tied, 1-1. Wright scored the game-winner, taking advantage of a short goal kick, dribbling past a couple defenders and scoring at the 51:26 mark.

Scouting Lipscomb
After clinching a share of the regular-season title with a 2-0 victory over North Alabama on Thursday, Lipscomb enters Sunday's contest with an 11-4-2 overall record, including a 6-1-0 mark in ASUN Conference play. The Bisons, who rank second in the ASUN with 38 goals, are led by junior forward Olivia Doak, who has totaled 22 points (7 goals, 8 assists). Senior goalkeeper Kate Mason is second in the conference with a 0.79 goals-against average. Head coach Kevin O'Brien is in his sixth season leading the Lipscomb program and has compiled a 53-39-19 record.

Series Versus Lipscomb
Sunday's match will mark the 17th meeting between the two programs, with the Owls leading the all-time series, 11-5. The two teams squared off twice during the 2017 season with Kennesaw State recording a 1-0 victory during the regular season and Lipscomb posting a 1-0 win in the semifinals of the ASUN Championship. Both matches were in Nashville.Â

» Sophomore goalkeeper Tiffany Sornpao has a career-high nine shutouts. She leads the ASUN Conference and ranks fourth in the country.
» The shutout total also ties Sornpao with Jessica Marek (2000) and Katie Piotrowski for fourth place on KSU's single-season list. Her 16 career clean sheets rank third in program history. The all-time mark is 37 set by Jessica Marek (2002-05).
» Freshman Jenna Vollrath, who has six goals, leads the ASUN Conference and is tied for fourth nationally with five game-winning scores.Â
» Sophomore forward Erin Harris leads the Owls and is tied for fourth in the ASUN Conference with six assists.
» Harris ranks second in the ASUN with 16 points, is tied for fifth in assists (6) and eighth in goals (5).Â
