KENNESAW, Ga. - The No. 2 Kennesaw State football team puts its highest ranking in school history on the line this weekend, traveling to Gardner-Webb to battle the Runnin' Bulldogs in the Big South Game of the Week on ESPN3.

• Gardner-Webb is one of two teams in the Big South Conference that the Owls are undefeated against. KSU is a perfect 3-0 against GWU and Monmouth.Â
• Kennesaw State is looking to become the third team in Big South history and the first program in the last 10 years to win consecutive conference titles with an undefeated record in league play.

Brian Bohannon (31-11) is the third fastest coach in Big South Conference history to reach 30 career wins, needing just 41 games to accomplish the feat.
• Burks' four rushing scores last Saturday gave him 14 for the year, the most for any FCS player, and tied for the national lead in all Division I football (FBS & FCS).
• The Owls have forced a turnover in 20 straight games dating back to last season, and have recorded an interception in 18 of those 20 contests.
• The Owls have given up just seven points all season in the third quarter, outscoring opponents 96-7.
• KSU has scored on the first possession of the second half five times in six games this year, with four of those being touchdowns.
• With 56 points against PC, the Owls set records for most points in league play and margin of victory against an FCS opponent.

• Gardner-Webb is 1-5 on the year, losing its last five games. The Bulldogs' only win came in their season-opener, defeating Limestone 52-17.
• Head coach Carroll McCray is in the midst of his sixth season at Gardner-Webb. During his tenure, he has accrued a 22-41 record.
• The Bulldogs have the No. 3 passing offense in the Big South, averaging 159.7 yards per game.Â
• Gardner-Webb is allowing an average of 311.5 rushing yards per game, compared to 96.3 by KSU.
• Quarterback Jordan Smith ranks third in the Big South, averaging 152.2 yards passing per game. Smith needs just 85 more yards to surpass 1,000 for the year.
