KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State women's lacrosse team had its first practice of the 2018 season on Monday, January 22.
"The team is excited to start practices," head coach
Laura Maness said. "We had a great Fall and are looking to make impactful strides this season."
The Owls are coming off of one of their most successful seasons finishing with a program high eight wins in 2017.
Kennesaw State returns six starters from a season ago including
Haley Swift, who led the team in points with 66.The team also welcomes in 12 newcomers to the roster.
The Owls begin their 2018 season against Arizona State on February 9 in Fifth Third Bank Stadium. That will be Arizona State's first game as a program.
