Preview
Kennesaw State will look to get its first ASUN victory of the season at North Florida on Saturday, January 13.

As the Owls come in 0-2 in ASUN play, North Florida is coming off a big victory over Lipscomb to get their record to 1-1.

The Owls and Ospreys have split the past two seasons with each team winning on their home floor.

Scouting North Florida
The Ospreys love to get up and down and shoot threes. They lead the ASUN making 11.4 three pointers per game.

North Florida has four players that average double figures in points leading to the highest scoring offense in the ASUN averaging 79.6 points per game.

Matthew Driscoll is in his eighth season with the Ospreys.

Defense Coming Around
Against Jacksonville, the Owls forced the Dolphins into 17 turnovers. That is the second most turnovers that KSU has forced this season.

In the first two ASUN games, the Owls have had nine steals against Lipscomb and Jacksonville.

Getting to the Free Throw Line
Kennesaw State was aggressive taking the ball to the basket against the Wildcats and it paid off as the Owls got to the free throw line 42 times with 36 of those opportunities coming in the second half.

Going to the line 42 times is the most since Kennesaw State went to the charity stripe 44 times against Chattanooga during the 2014-15 season. In that game against the Mocs, the Owls made 34 free throws.

In ASUN action, Kennesaw State has averaged getting to the line 21.5 times through the first two games.

Jones Finds a Rhythm
Senior Jordan Jones has been very productive on the offensive end shooting a high percentage over the last eight games. He is 32-43 from the floor since the Bethune-Cookman game.

The senior forward has made at least six field goals in three of the last four games and scored in double figures in all four games.

Masterson Shoots at a High Percentage
Nick Masterson is making 48.6 percent of his threes despite other defenses keying on him in the Owls offense. At home, he's even better as he is 18-32 from behind the arc and making a staggering 56.25 percent.

When you combine his shooting percentage with two-point field goals, three-point field goals and free throws, Masterson has a total shooting percentage of 67.3 percent. That is the 37th best mark in the country.
