CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The annual Big South Conference Football Media Day is set to take place on Tuesday, July 18 at the Charlotte City Marriott Center in Charlotte, N.C. The event will kickoff the 16th season of Big South football and will include head coach Brian Bohannon, junior QB Chandler Burks and senior LB Izzy Sam from Kennesaw State.

As part of the event, the conference will announce its annual preseason poll and preseason all-conference teams in a video presentation. In addition, the Big South head football coaches will speak at the luncheon and the preseason players of the year will be recognized. The preseason poll and preseason all-conference teams will first be posted on the Big South's Social Media platforms, and later available online at www.KSUOwls.com starting at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

Again this year, the Big South Network will broadcast interviews with each team's head coach and student-athletes in attendance as part of a live show hosted by Mike Hogewood starting at approximately 1:30 p.m. (see below for full schedule).  In addition, ESPN3 will carry the event for the fourth consecutive year.

Fans can follow Football Media Day and engage with the event using the hashtags #BSCMediaDay17 and #BigSouthFB on the Big South's social platforms. The day will include various posts on the league's main @BigSouthSports Twitter account, Snapchat and Instagram, as well as a new Facebook Live segment with the student-athletes Tuesday morning from 9:00-11:30 a.m.
