MBB: Owls Add Three Players for Next Season

KENNESAW, Ga. - The Kennesaw State men's basketball team welcomes three signees to its roster in Tristan Jarrett, Bryson Lockley and Fredy Yana.
 
"We're very happy with our incoming class," head coach Al Skinner said. "We are bringing in some more size and talent and this class is an indication of that. We're extremely pleased, and it's going to allow us to continue to improve our play in the league."
 
Jarrett is a 6'4" shooting guard from Brownsville, Tennessee. He was named the 2017 All-West Tennessee Boys Basketball Player of the Year after averaging 21.8 points per game and 8.6 rebounds per game to lead his team to the Region 8-AA Championship. He was rated as a three star recruit by ESPN.
 
Lockley is a 6'8" power forward from Houston, Texas. After one season at Santa Clara, he played at Panola where he saw action in 35 games with 11 starts.
 
Yana is originally from Yaounde, Cameroon. Last season, he played at Melbourne Central Catholic HS. The 6'4" point guard has a 6'7" wing span.
 
The Owls are coming off of their most successful season in the Division I era making it to the ASUN Semifinals after finishing in a tie for fourth at the end of the regular season. Next year, Skinner will be in his third season coaching Kennesaw State.
