THE STORYLINE:Â
· Kennesaw State dropped its regular-season finale, 13-3, to FGCU Sunday afternoon at Stillwell Stadium.
· The Owls honored 10 members of the program as part of their annual senior day, and
Daniel Seres hit his first collegiate home run, but could not hold off the Eagles who totaled 14 hits and 13 runs.
· With the loss, Kennesaw State finished its regular season with a 23-30 overall record and 10-11 in conference play, while FGCU finished 37-17 overall and 13-8 in the ASUN.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Taylor Allum drove home his career-best 40
th run with a two-out double in the bottom half of the first to deadlock the ballgame at 1-1.
· After starting pitcher
Chris Erwin tossed a scoreless second, the Owls came right back in the bottom half and took their first lead of the series when freshman catcher
Daniel Seres, who hails from Canton, Ga., hit a two-run homer over the left field wall.
· Trailing 3-1, FGCU scored at least a run over its final five at-bats, extending the lead to 13-3 and totaled 14 hits on the day.
· Offensively for the Owls,
Grant Williams (1-for-4), Allum (1-for-4, RBI), and Seres (1-for-3, two RBI) paced the lineup.
