2017
  • Competed as a key piece out of the Owls’ bullpen, making a career-high 15 appearances for the Black and Gold.
  • Posted a career-best 5.96 ERA and 22.2 innings.
  • Totaled a career-high 22 batters and held opponents to a career-best .220 average.
  • Logged 6.1 innings and three appearances in ASUN action, striking out three and finished with a 8.53 ERA.
  • Worked a scoreless frame allowing two hits versus Marshall (Feb. 19).
  • Tossed a scoreless two innings not allowing a hit versus Winthrop (Feb. 26).
  • Totaled a career-high 3.2 innings not allowing a hit or run versus Auburn (April 18).
2016:
  • Made eight appearances out of the bullpen in his first season with the Owls.
  • Pitched 6.2 innings.
  • Struck out eight batters.
  • Made season debut versus Purdue (Feb. 20).
  • Tossed 2.1 innings at Tennessee Tech (March 30).
  • Made an appearance at FGCU (May 21).

PREVIOUS SCHOOL (Georgia Perimeter College):
  • As a sophomore, Watkins made 15 appearances on the mound for GPC.
  • Watkins finished the season with a 3-1 record and a 3.45 ERA in 15.2 innings of work.
  • He struck out 19 batters and walked only five...Watkins averaged 10.91 strikeouts per game.
