The Kennesaw State men's track and field team will open the postseason at the ASUN Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships May 12-13 as the Owls will look to win their fifth straight team conference title and their ASUN-best eighth conference championship overall.

The Owls will compete against North Florida, Lipscomb, USC Upstate and NJIT.
LAST TEAM OUTDOOR MEET
The Kennesaw State track and field teams closed out the regular season winning ten events, setting two school records and many strong performances on Friday at the WCU Invitational. The men's team won the meet scoring 202 points.
Four Seniors Wrapping Up Their Talented Careers in the Nest.
Four successful Owls are leaving; the nest. In less than two months, the Kennesaw State men's track and field team will say farewell to one of their most successful senior classes in program history. The class which consist of

» Athletes that are in the top 48 in the East Region in an event will get the opportunity to compete in the preliminary rounds for the NCAA Championships. The preliminary rounds are May 25-27 at the UK Outdoor Track and Field Complex in Lexington, Kentucky for the NCAA East Region.
NEWS AND NOTES:
» The men's team enters the week leading the ASUN in 11 of 21 events so far this season.
Cameron Bolden is tied for the lead in the 100m (10.75) and leads the 200m (21.51).
Jonathon Womack leads in the 400m (48.18). The Owls lead the 4x100m relay with a time of 40.91.
Joshua Mulder leads in the pole vault after clearing 5.27m (17'3.5).
Dayo Akindele leads in the long jump (7.67m, 25'2) and the triple jump (15.39m, 50'6).
Chuck McConville leads in the shot put (15.53m, 50'11.5), while
Fabeon Tucker leads in the Discus throw (51.02m,167'5) and the hammer throw (59.77m, 196'1).
Joshua Mulder leads in the decathlon after scoring 7320 points at the Virginia Challenge.

Joshua Mulder was named ASUN Field Athlete of the Week after his performance at the WCU Invitational. Mulder won the pole vault with a school-record leap of 5.27m (17'3.5") at the WCU Invitational. That vault passed his previous career-high vault of 4.91m (16'1.25") by one foot and two and a quarter inches. That vault currently leads the ASUN, ranks 15th in the NCAA East Region, and 31st in the NCAA this season. He also finished second in the javelin with a personal-best throw of 51.80m (169'11") which ranks second in the ASUN this season.
» Three Owls are currently ranked in the top 48 in the NCAA East Region.

Fabeon Tucker was the top collegiate in the hammer throw with a career-best toss of 59.77m (196'1) good for fifth-best in program history at the WCU Invitational.

Dayo Akindele ran a time of 14.13 seconds in the 110m hurdles to win the event.
