Â
Sutter came up with the big hit of the game when she produced a clutch two-out, bases-loaded double to left-center field that cleared the bases and turned a 3-0 advantage into a 6-0 lead, and provided the margin of victory as the Owls improved to 28-12 and 5-4 in ASUN Conference play.

Senior
Logan Viers (10-5) was solid in the circle as she scattered eight hits, three unearned runs, walked one and struck out four while pitching a complete game.
Â
One day after being limited to just eight hits in a doubleheader, the Owls had their bats going early as they struck for three runs on three hits while taking advantage of an Osprey error.
Katey Lynch drove in the first run with a sacrifice fly, Sutter knocked in a run with a double and, after
Noelle Winkles doubled,
Kira Czyrklis produced a sacrifice fly to cap the scoring.
Â
Kennesaw State added three more in the second, highlighted by Sutter's double. The inning started with
Jessie Mullen being hit by a pitch, and
Olivia Tamewitz and
Hannah Thomason singled to load the bases.
Â
Sutter, who extended her hitting streak to six games, concluded a big weekend as she went 6-for-10, scored two runs and totaled eight RBIs.
Â
Kennesaw State returns to Bailey Park on Tuesday when it hosts Georgia State in a non-conference game beginning at 6 p.m. (ET).
