After some more solid performances at Florida Relays , the Kennesaw State track and field team's in the UNF Invitational at Hodges Stadium hosted by the University of North Florida.

LAST TEAM OUTDOOR MEET
The Kennesaw State men's and women's track teams set some new school records and had more solid performances at the Florida Relays at the Percy Beard Track on March 30- April 1.
NEXT UP:
The Owls will take next weekend off and return to the track Friday-Saturday April 21-22 at the Virginia Challenge in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Dayo Akindele was named ASUN Field Athlete of the Week for his performance at Florida Relays. He won the long jump with a leap of 7.40m (24'3.5) at Florida Relays. That jump tied him with
Andre Dorsey for the third-farthest in program history. That jump ranks tops in the ASUN and 20th in the NCAA East Region this season. The sophomore finished sixth among collegiate athletes in the triple jump with a leap of 15.24m (50'0.00). That jump leads the ASUN and ranks 19th best in the NCAA East Region this season.
» The women's team have an ASUN conference leading mark or time in eight of 21 events this season.

Jocselyn Powell was named ASUN Field Athlete of the Week for her performance at Florida Relays. She finished fifth in the 400m hurdles with a new school-record time of 58.14 seconds. That time currently leads the ASUN and is ninth-best in the NCAA East Region. The junior also ran a time of 13.64 seconds in the 100m hurdles. That time is the best in the ASUN and 26th in the NCAA East Region this season. The Columbus, Ohio native, ran a leg on the 4x100m short hurdle relay team that set a school record and the 4x400m relay team that set the school record and conference-leading mark with a time of 3:42.79.
