Game Preview
Kennesaw State takes a break from ASUN action and will host No. 12 Notre Dame at Fifth Third Bank Stadium on Thursday, April 6 at 1 p.m. on ESPN3. The meeting will be the highest ranked team KSU has faced since the program started in 2013.

After facing the Fighting Irish and finishing non-conference play, Kennesaw State will turn its attention back to the ASUN for two games this weekend beginning with Delaware State on Friday, April 7 at 7 p.m.

Then on Sunday, the Owls will play Howard at 1 p.m. to finish up the weekend.

Kennesaw State Team Notes
• The Owls currently sit with a 5-4 record this season matching the most wins in program history.
• KSU is seventh in the country in scoring offense averaging 15.11 goals per game. The team has scored over 20 goals in four games so far this season.
• Overall offense isn't the only thing that the Owls are towards the top of the country in. They are also second in the country in draw controls winning 16.78 per game and third in the country in picking up ground balls averaging 24.56 per game.
• A big reason the Owls rank so highly in draw controls is Sydney Farwick. She is second in the conference averaging 5.44 per game. Farwick was named ASUN Defensive Player of the Week two weeks in a row earlier in the season.
• Over the past six games, Haley Swift has been on fire. She has scored 23 of her team-leading 26 goals in that stretch while also assisting on 11 more goals. She has taken over the team lead in goals with 26 and points with 40.
• Connor Zophy is another Owl that has had a career season on the offensive end. She is second on the team with 38 points scoring 24 goals and assisting on 14 of them.
• When the Owls get in the offensive zone they aren't afraid to shoot the ball and they usually put it on net. They currently lead the country in shots per game averaging 37.78 and shots on goal averaging 28.11 on goal.
• Swift and Zophy have been really good at free-position attempts this season. Swift leads the ASUN and is sixth nationally scoring 1.22 per game. Zophy is right behind her in third in the ASUN and 11th in the country averaging 1.11 per game.
• In the last four games, Kennesaw State has combined to cause 49 turnovers. The team caused 16 against Presbyterian setting a new school record and followed that up with 15 more against Central Michigan. In the most recent game, they caused 11 against Mercer.
• Coming into the three games this weekend, Kennesaw State is 4-2 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium this season.
• For the ASUN matches, the Owls are undefeated against Howard. This is the first season Delaware State is in the ASUN, but KSU has beaten them one time before in the only meeting between the two teams.
