Game Preview
Kennesaw State will travel to Old Dominion for its final regular season road game. The game will take place on Friday, April 21 at 4 p.m.
Old Dominion won the 2016 ASUN Tournament played at Kennesaw State.
The Owls and Monarchs have faced off two times, with ODU coming out on top both times.
Kennesaw State Team Notes
• With the victory over Delaware State and Howard earlier in the season, Kennesaw State secured its sixth and seventh victory of the season. With the sixth win, KSU set a new Division I record for wins in its fifth season as a program.
•
Olivia Hokanson became the second player in Kennesaw State history to reach 100 career goals after scoring seven against Stetson. She joins
Sydney Farwick as the only two in KSU history to reach that milestone. Fellow senior
Taylor McGhee, is currently sitting at 95 career goals with three games to play in the regular season.
• The Owls offense has been prolific at times this season scoring over 20 goals in six games this year and averaging 14.93 goals per game. That is the 13th best mark in the country.
• The Owls have been outstanding at picking up ground balls and winning draw controls. The Owls are second in the nation scooping up 25.14 ground balls per game and fourth in the nation winning 16.29 draw controls per game.
• Kennesaw State set six single-game records against Delaware State earlier this season. The records that were broken were goals with 26, assists with 15, points with 41, goals in a half with 18, least amount of goals allowed with three and goal differential at 23.
• A big reason the Owls rank so highly in draw controls is
Sydney Farwick. She is 15th in the country averaging 5.57 draw controls per game. Farwick has won more than six in draws in seven games this season.
• Against Howard,
Connor Zophy finished with one goal and four assists giving her 100 career points. She is the fourth KSU player to reach the 100-point mark joining Farwick, Hokanson and McGhee.
• On the year, Farwick,
Haley Swift and McGhee have scored over 30 goals. Swift leads team in points with 56 scoring 31 goals and 25 assists.

The Owls will travel to Jacksonville and take on the Dolphins on Saturday, April 15 at 1 p.m.
