Game Preview
The Owls carry a four-game win streak into ASUN action this weekend as they take on Detroit Mercy on Friday, March 24 and Central Michigan on Sunday, March 26.
First draw against Detroit is at 4 p.m. and it will be broadcasted on ESPN3.
Kennesaw State Team Notes
• Kennesaw State is currently on its longest win streak as a program, winning its past four games against Gardner Webb, Radford, Army and Presbyterian.
• The Owls have been on an offensive tear during their winning streak averaging 19.5 goals per game during that stretch and scoring over 20 goals in three of the last four games. Coming into the season, KSU had scored over 20 goals in a game three times in the first four years of the program.
• For the season, KSU has the eighth best scoring offense in the country averaging 15.0 goals per game.

Sydney Farwick was named ASUN Defensive Player of the Week for the second week in a row after winning 12 draw controls, 11 ground balls, causing three turnovers and totaling eight points with five goals and three assists, including the game-winner against Army.
• Farwick is off to a great start in her senior season leading the team in goals with 19, 31 draw controls and 23 ground balls. She also has two game-winning goals.
• KSU has been spreading the ball around as at least four players have scored multiple goals in four straight games. Through six games, the Owls have five players that have scored in double-figures for the season.

Connor Zophy leads Kennesaw State with 26 points scoring 15 goals and dishing out 11 assists. She has scored at least three goals in three games this season.

Haley Swift had a career game against Army scoring four goals and dishing out four assists. She followed that up with three more goals and one assist against Presbyterian. For the year, she has 22 points with 13 goals and nine assists. As a freshman, Swift finished the year with 11 points.
• Three freshmen scored their first collegiate goals for the Owls against Presbyterian as
Katie DeFine,
Anna Giulitto and
Grace Lascara all pushed Kennesaw State's lead to as much as 12 against the Blue Hose.
• The team caused 16 turnovers against Presbyterian setting a new school record. Farwick led the team with three caused turnovers, but
Laura Jordan,
Connor Zophy,
RoseAnna Schiemer and
Maura Palandro each had two caused turnovers.
• Kennesaw State head coach
Laura Maness coached at Detroit Mercy before coming to KSU. She is the all-time winningest coach in Detroit Mercy history.
Next Up
After Kennesaw State takes on Detroit Mercy on Friday, March 24 at 4 p.m. on ESPN3, the team will make their first trip to Mount Pleasant, Michigan to take on Central Michigan on Sunday, March 26 at noon.
