KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State men's basketball took care of business in their exhibition against the West Georgia Wolves winning 96-76 on Sunday, November 5.

Jordan Jones led the team with 18 points, but it was freshman
Bryson Lockley that came up big for the Owls notching a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds. He also had five assists.
In the game, the Owls shared the ball very well assisting on 29 of their 37 field goals. The 29 assists is a team high since
Al Skinner has been the head coach at Kennesaw State.
After leading by five at halftime, KSU got hot at the beginning of the second half hitting five of their first six shots including three treys to push their lead out to double-digits.
West Georgia hung around, but the Owls kept control of the game throughout the half and then blew the game open in the final minutes ending the game on a 13-0 run and forcing five turnovers over the final 3:18.
In the first half, KSU had as big as a 12-point lead, but West Georgia kept it close hitting six three pointers.
Kennesaw State led 44-39 into the break.
After being hot from the outside in the first half, West Georgia cooled down in the second only making two three-point shots which allowed the Owls to extend their lead to a comfortable margin.
The Owls now will now look forward to traveling to Indianapolis, Indiana to take on the Butler Bulldogs on Friday, November 5 at 7 p.m. to begin their 2017-18 season.

- Kennesaw State had six players score in double figures led by Jones with 18. The others were Lockley with 15, James Scott and Tristan Jarrett with 14 and Nick Masterson and Tyler Hooker with 13.
- The Owls had 29 assists tonight on 37 field goals. That is the most assists in a game since Skinner has been the head coach. The most previously was 27 against North Florida in the 2016-17 season.
- KSU forced 16 turnovers and cashed those in to 24 points. The Owls only had eight turnovers themselves.
- The Owls led by 44-39 at the break. Lockley paced the Owls with nine points and eight rebounds in his first action with KSU.
- Kennesaw State led for 35 out of 40 minutes in the game.
