KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State volleyball team had a spirted 90-minute practice at George Albert Smith Fieldhouse at BYU in Provo, Utah to prepare for Oregon in its first round matchup of the NCAA Tournament.
"The players are in a good frame of mind and are enjoying everything, but we've come to play ball so that's really cool," Schunzel said. "We're in a really good place mentally and physically. We've done the right things to push the team enough to make sure their bodies are as fresh as they can be right now. I think we're getting off the deck really well and feel really good with where we're at. We'll be ready to go tomorrow night."
The Owls finished the season 21-4 and earned their first NCAA Tournament bid after winning the ASUN Tournament. Oregon was 17-11 and finished 10-10 in the Pac-12.
The match will be aired on ESPN3 beginning at 6 p.m. ET on Friday, December 1. This is the first meeting between the two teams.
