SCOUTING SEATTLE
The Seattle Red Hawks are 3-4 early in the season with wins over Puget Sound, Detroit Mercy and Idaho State.

Led by Matej Kavas averaging 18.4 points per game, Seattle can score as they have topped the century mark two times out of their seven games.

The Red Hawks are undefeated at home so far this season.

They are led by Jim Hayford in his first season at Seattle. Previously, he spent the last six seasons at Eastern Washington.

Masterson Does it All
Nick Masterson is making 58.2 percent of his threes despite other defenses keying on him in the Owls offense. That mark is currently ninth best in the country.

Despite them limiting his shots, he still leads KSU in assists and steals in the early going this season.

Hooker Inserted into Starting Lineup
Tyler Hooker was inserted into the starting lineup for Kennesaw State two games ago and he has played so well that Skinner has rarely taken him off the floor.

In the two games he's started, he has averaged 39.5 minutes per game. Against Washington, the redshirt sophomore had a career high eight assists and led KSU in almost every statistical category.

Offense Starting to Click
Kennesaw State has started to become more efficient on the offensive end at Florida State and against Tennessee State.

Against the Seminoles, the Owls averaged 1.13 points per possession, which was the most by KSU playing a Power 5 opponent since it joined Division I in 2005.

After a slow start against Tennessee State, the Owls shot 73.9 percent from the floor in the second half making 17-23 field goals over the final 20 minutes to shoot 50 percent for the game.

Scott Leads the Way on Offense
James Scott has stepped up on the offensive end leading the team averaging 16.1 points per game. He has scored in double figures in six of the seven games so far and has two twenty-point games.

Scott has led the team in scoring in four games this season.

On the Road
Through November, Kennesaw State only played at home two times as opposed to seven road games. The next home game for KSU will be December 16 against Bethune Cookman.
