CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- ESPN3 has selected the Monmouth at Kennesaw State football game scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 18 as its Big South Wildcard telecast, it was announced today by the Big South Conference office. The game is set for 2 p.m. ET at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
The Owls and the Hawks are setting the pace in the Big South race this season with 3-0 KSU slightly ahead of 2-0 Monmouth. Both squads enter this weekend 7-1 overall and ranked in the Top 25 national rankings -- Monmouth at No. 24 in the FCS Coaches poll and Kennesaw State at No. 25 in both the Coaches and STATS FCS ranking. Kennesaw State leads the all-time series, 2-0.
ESPN3 is ESPN's live multi-screen sports network, a destination that delivers thousands of exclusive sports events annually. Fifth Third Bank is the Official Bank of Kennesaw State Athletics. Fifth Third Bank Stadium, the signature athletics landmark on the Kennesaw State University campus, is a world-class facility that has been recognized as one of the premier multi-use outdoor athletics venues in the country. In the fall of 2015, it become the official home of Owls football team and is home to Owls soccer and lacrosse as well.
