NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Kennesaw State volleyball beat Lipscomb on Friday, November 17 to clinch a spot in the ASUN Championship against FGCU today (November 18) at 6 p.m. EST.
The match will be played at Allen Arena at Lipscomb in Nashville, Tennessee. It will be broadcasted on ESPN3.
The Owls dominated Lipscomb at the net, coming up with 22.5 blocks in the four-set match to set a new single-match KSU record helping secure their second appearance in the ASUN Championship in three seasons.
It was the 20
th win of the season for the Owls last night giving them the most wins in a single season in program history. The win pushes the Owls win streak to 11 with their last loss coming on October 6.
Kennesaw State beat FGCU twice in the regular season sweeping them on their home floor and beating them in four sets in Fort Myers, Florida.
