KENNESAW, Ga. - Kennesaw State women's lacrosse has signed 10 players in the early signing period, head coach
Laura Maness announced on Wednesday, November 15.

"We are thrilled to welcome our 2018 recruitment class into our KSU lacrosse family," Maness said. "They represent great local talent as well as national and international talent. I believe that each athlete will complement our current team and bring something to the table to make Kennesaw State lacrosse stronger than ever. It is a very exciting time to be an Owl."

Sam Campanella is a defender from Fenton, Michigan. She has lettered at Hartland High School four years in lacrosse and field hockey. Campanella was named KLAA First Team All-State in lacrosse in 2017. Along with helping lead her team to three KLAA conference championships, she was a scholar athlete in 2016 and 2017.

Kelly Emge is from Forest Hill, Maryland. The attacker has played varsity lacrosse since her freshman season at Fallston High School. Emge is a multi-sport star also lettering in field hockey and track and field. The last two seasons, Fallston HS has made it all the way to the state championship game in lacrosse. Emge has been named Second Team All-County in lacrosse the last two seasons.

Lucy Gabrovic is an attacker from Orlando, Florida. She was named to the 2017 and 2016 All-SAC Conference First Team. Gabrovic led the team in assists her junior season at Lake Brantley High School. The Gabrovic family started a program called Stix for Chix, which collects used lacrosse equipment and donates it to lacrosse programs for girls that want to try out lacrosse.

Payton Gregory is a local product from Marietta, Georgia that attends Walton High School. The attacker won the State Championship in 2016. Gregory played on the Georgia National Team in 2016 and was named to the All-American South Team in 2017.

Lyndsey Kallish is an attacker from Johns Creek, Georgia. The Northview High School product has played on the varsity team all four seasons. She has played club lacrosse with GA Outlaws, Eagle Stix and Khaos.

Camryn Klaus is an attacker from Cumming, Georgia. She attends South Forsyth High School and plays for the Atlanta Stampede and Midwestern Force in club. Off the lacrosse field she was a state winner and national competitor in FBLA.

Chesslyn Lamar is a 5-10 attacker from Roswell, Georgia. She has lettered in lacrosse the last three seasons. In her junior season, she was second on the team in assists and helped lead her team to the second round of the state playoffs.

Carson Pearson is a defender from Johns Creek, Georgia and is a teammate of Lyndsey Kallish's. Pearson is a three-year varsity letterman and helped her team reach the elite eight in the state playoffs two times. She has been named to the academic honor roll all four seasons and plans to major in Engineering at Kennesaw State

RosaLee Schiemer is a midfielder from Charlotte, North Carolina. She has been named First Team All-Conference by the Charlotte Observer three times. After her junior season that saw her score 52 goals and have 28 assists, she was named Female Athlete of the Year.

Jaxsyn Schonnewille will be the first international Kennesaw State lacrosse player as she is from Coquitlam, British Columbia in Canada. The midfielder will be majoring in nursing when she gets to KSU next fall.

These ten signees will enroll at Kennesaw State in Fall of 2018 to start preparing for the 2019 season.
