THE STORYLINE:
· Kennesaw State got back on track defeating North Florida in four sets at UNF Arena on Saturday, October 7.

Katarina Morton became the all-time leader in career digs with 1,684 after totaling 24 against the Ospreys.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
KSU got some separation early in the first set and didn't look back extending their lead to as much as seven points before closing it out 25-17.

Trailing by two points early in the second set, the Owls used a big 11-3 run to take control and go up 15-9. Kennesaw State didn't let the Ospreys back in the set after that, eventually taking a 2-0 lead in the match.

North Florida kept it close in the third set and the Owls had a 22-20 lead late, but the Ospreys avoided getting swept by winning four of five points with their backs against the wall and won the set in extra points, 26-24.

After dropping the third set, KSU came out in the fourth and grabbed a 10-6 lead early. They held a five-point advantage the rest of the way to close out the match in four.

SCHUNZEL QUOTE
"We approached this entire day the way that championship teams do. We learned from yesterday and mentally moved on and then we had a great serve/pass earlier in the day that set the tone for playing a really solid match tonight. Really proud of that response by our team.

Alex Huber and Karla Radillo came off the bench tonight and served well and made plays on defense.  And two freshmen, Karlee Groover and Lauren Chastang had their best and most aggressive matches of their young careers."

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
