The Kennesaw State women's soccer team is set to host North Florida in a quarterfinal match of the ASUN Conference Championship Sunday at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. Kickoff is 1 p.m. and admission is free.

The Owls (8-6-3, 3-3-1) are seeking a second consecutive appearance in the ASUN semifinals and a trip to Nashville for an opportunity to face Lipscomb on Nov. 3. KSU posted a 4-1 quarterfinal-victory over Jacksonville last year at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.

Kennesaw State in ASUN Championship
The Owls have an 8-7-2 all-time record in the ASUN Championship and captured titles in 2007 and 2009. KSU has reached the semifinals eight times, the finals on three occasions, and last reached the championship match in 2014.

Roth Earns ASUN Weekly Honor
Senior defender
Abby Roth was named the ASUN Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. Roth's play in the back helped the Owls shut out ASUN Conference regular season co-champion Lipscomb, 1-0, on Saturday. She also assisted on the game-winning goal. It was her second Defensive Player of the Week honor this season.

Kennesaw State capped its regular season with an impressive performance, defeating ASUN Conference regular season co-champion Lipscomb, 1-0, Saturday night in Nashville to clinch an ASUN Conference Tournament berth.

The Ospreys (9-6-0, 3-4-0) are coming off back-to-back losses after falling 3-0 to Stetson and Florida Gulf Coast. Midfielder Thais Reiss, who was named ASUN Freshman of the Year, leads North Florida and ranks seventh in the ASUN Conference with 13 points (6 goals, 1 assist).   Â

Series Versus North Florida
Kennesaw State leads the all-time series, 12-4-1. The Owls had their two-match series winning streak snapped earlier this year, falling 1-0 on Oct. 8 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. North Florida and KSU have met one previous time in the ASUN Championship, and the Ospreys recorded a 1-0 victory in 2012.
