What's On The Line?
The Owls (8-6-3, 3-3-1) are seeking a second consecutive appearance in the ASUN semifinals and a trip to Nashville for an opportunity to face Lipscomb on Nov. 3. KSU posted a 4-1 quarterfinal-victory over Jacksonville last year at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.

Kennesaw State in ASUN Championship
The Owls have an 8-7-2 all-time record in the ASUN Championship and captured titles in 2007 and 2009. KSU has reached the semifinals eight times, the finals on three occasions, and last reached the championship match in 2014.

Roth Earns ASUN Weekly Honor
Senior defender Abby Roth was named the ASUN Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. Roth's play in the back helped the Owls shut out ASUN Conference regular season co-champion Lipscomb, 1-0, on Saturday. She also assisted on the game-winning goal. It was her second Defensive Player of the Week honor this season.

Quoting Head Coach Benji Walton
"We were happy to get Saturday's win for our seniors and provide them the opportunity to play another home game," head coach Benji Walton said. "I hope Owl Nation will come out to the "Bank" on Sunday and support us as we kick off our postseason."

Week in Review
Kennesaw State capped its regular season with an impressive performance, defeating ASUN Conference regular season co-champion Lipscomb, 1-0, Saturday night in Nashville to clinch an ASUN Conference Tournament berth.

The Owls scored just before the end of the first half when they capitalized on a corner kick opportunity. Sophomore Morgan Harrison served the ball into the box where senior Abby Roth got a touch, and following a deflection, senior Carly Pressgrove found open space in the back of the goal. The score gave the Owls a 1-0 lead with 5:43 remaining in the first half.

Scouting North Florida
The Ospreys (9-6-0, 3-4-0) are coming off back-to-back losses after falling 3-0 to Stetson and Florida Gulf Coast. Midfielder Thais Reiss, who was named ASUN Freshman of the Year, leads North Florida and ranks seventh in the ASUN Conference with 13 points (6 goals, 1 assist).

Series Versus North Florida
Kennesaw State leads the all-time series, 12-4-1. The Owls had their two-match series winning streak snapped earlier this year, falling 1-0 on Oct. 8 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. North Florida and KSU have met one previous time in the ASUN Championship, and the Ospreys recorded a 1-0 victory in 2012.

ASUN Conference Honors
Senior defender Abby Roth led a group of three Kennesaw State individuals who earned ASUN All-Conference honors. Roth was named first team all-conference, while senior midfielder Ashtah Das was selected to the second team and goalkeeper Tiffany Sornpao was a unanimous pick to the all-freshman team.

Roth also garnered ASUN Conference All-Academic Team honors for the second year in row.
