Kennesaw State continues its stretch of five straight road contests when it travels to Statesboro, Ga. to take on Georgia Southern Friday (Sept. 9) at Eagle Field beginning at 7 p.m. (ET).

The Owls, who are 4-1-1 on the season, conclude weekend play on Sunday (Sept. 11) when they venture to Athens to face Georgia at UGA Soccer Stadium. Kickoff is 5 p.m. (ET).

Georgia Southern opens the weekend with a 2-2-1 mark, while Georgia is currently 2-3-1 and opens SEC play Friday against South Carolina.

• Kennesaw State leads the series, 1-0, posting a 2-1 victory over the Eagles in 2010.

• The Bulldogs are 2-3-1 and coming off consecutive losses to USC (3-0) and Iowa State (2-0) at the Auburn Soccer Classic last week. Senior forward Lauren Tanner leads Georgia with seven points (2 goals, 3 assists).

• The Owls rebounded from a tough 3-2 loss to Western Carolina on Friday (Sept. 2) to post a 2-0 victory at UNC Asheville on Sunday (Sept. 4).
