Kennesaw, Ga. – Mid-June has approached 22 Kennesaw State baseball players as five different leagues around the country are sprinkled with Owls.

KSU placed players in leagues highlighted with two players in the Cape Cod Baseball League, five in the New England League, three in the Coastal Plain League, two in the Great Lakes League and 11 Sunbelt League.

Grant Williams, a soon-to-be junior, highlighted the last seven-day stretch, batting .421 with a slugging percentage of .526. Overall, Williams is batting .313 with a .375 slugging percentage and has compiled 10 hits in eight games.

2016 @KSUOWLSBASEBALL SEASON REVIEW
· Kennesaw State concluded its 2016 season with a 29-27 overall record and a 17-4 mark in ASUN play.
· The Owls won their first regular season title in program history.
· KSU won all seven of their regular season series in ASUN action for the first time in program history.
· Mike Sansing won his first ASUN Coach of the Year honors, leading the Owls to a #1 seed in the conference tournament.
· Gabe Friese, Brennan Morgan, Austin Upshaw, Griffin Helms and Corey Greeson all were honored to the ASUN All-Conference Second Team.
· David Chabut was tabbed to the ASUN All-Freshman Team.
