Weekend Preview
The Kennesaw State women's tennis team returns home this week to host NJIT in an Atlantic Sun Conference match Thursday at the Betty L. Siegel Student Recreation & Activities Center beginning at 10 a.m.
 
The Owls are 1-15 overall and 0-3 in conference play after falling to North Florida on Saturday.
 
The Series vs. NJIT
Kennesaw State and NJIT will be meeting for the first time on Thursday. The Highlanders are in their first year as a member of the A-Sun Conference.
  
The Last Time Out
Kennesaw State concluded its weekend trip to Florida with a 7-0 setback to North Florida Saturday at the UNF Tennis Complex in Jacksonville.  The Ospreys (9-5, 4-0) captured the doubles point then posted straight set victories in all six singles matches.
 
A Look at the Leaders
Sophomore Alexandra Mercado and Senior Isabela Castro lead Kennesaw State with four dual match victories apiece.
 
Scouting NJIT
The Highlanders are 4-12 overall and 0-3 in A-Sun Conference play. NJIT was last in action on Mar. 31 and suffered a 7-0 loss at Florida Gulf Coast.
  
Next Up
Kennesaw State returns to action on Saturday when it travels to Spartanburg, S.C. to take on USC Upstate in an A-Sun Conference match beginning at 10 a.m.
