The Owls are one win shy of recording the most wins under Director of Tennis,
Eduardo Rincon, and three wins shy of recording the most wins in program history for a single season.
The SeriesKennesaw State will entered the weekend a 0-6 mark against Spartans, dating back to 2008-09. The Owls will be playing NJIT for the first time in program's history.
The Last Time OutThe Kennesaw State men's tennis team lost in a hard-fought Atlantic Sun dual match showdown with North Florida Saturday evening.
Playing at the UNF Tennis Courts Saturday afternoon, the Ospreys took the all-important doubles point, taking two of the three matches. Doubles tandem of
Simon Pritchard and
Manuel Castellanos (7-5) defeated UNF.
In singles play,
Simon Pritchard (6-3, 4-6, 6-3) won a hard-fought three-set match, which took the first and third sets to take the match in the fourth ordered finish.
Sam Slade also took his singles match in two sets, winning 6-4 and 6-3 over Andrey Alawi.
