Final Results
Des Moines, Iowa – Five members of the Kennesaw State men's and women's track teams finished action at the Drake Relays on Saturday, April 30 at Drake Stadium.
Best Performance of the Day
Bilal Abdullah and
Dayo Akindele both reached the finals in the long jump on Saturday afternoon. Abdullah jumped 7.20m (23'7.50) to finish fourth among collegians in the field. Akindele turned in a jump of 7.06m (23'02.00) to finish fifth overall among the NCAA Division 1 athletes in the event.

The Owls will have two weeks after the Drake Relays to get ready for the Atlantic Sun Outdoor Track and Field Championships which will take place May 13-14 in Jacksonville, Florida at Hodges Stadium on the campus of the University of North Florida. The men's team will be seeking to win their fourth consecutive conference championship title, while the women will be looking to win their first ever A-Sun Conference Championship in track and field.
