Series History- The Owls will continue A-Sun play this weekend, trekking to Spartanburg, S.C. to take on USC Upstate.
- Kennesaw State owns a 15-7 record since the Owls and Spartans played in 2008.
-Â KSU has outscored Upstate 185-117 over the eight years of action, including a 22-14 margin in 2015 at Stillwell Stadium.
Program's First- The Owls welcomed Auburn to Stillwell Stadium on Tuesday night, defeating the Tigers 6-5 on Tuesday night.
- The victory marked the first time in program history Kennesaw State defeated Auburn at Stillwell Stadium.

Tony Dibrell picked up the win and the Owls erased 15 Auburn base-runners and scored six runs over the first four frames.
A-Sun Play Heating Up- The Owls have jumped out to first place in the Atlantic Sun Conference standings, holding a 5-1 record after two weeks taking 2-of-3 from North Florida before sweeping NJIT last weekend.
- In the A-Sun, Kennesaw State is second in batting average (.282) and second in slugging percentage (.410).
- In face, the Owls find themselves ranked third or higher in runs scored (199, 3rd), hits (333, 2nd), and runs batted in (182, 3rd).
- KSU had another big weekend hitting home runs and rank second in the conference with 30, behind UNF's 30.
Corey Greeson's fourth HR against Auburn was the lastest homer of the season for the Owls.
- The Owls also have had success playing small ball, ranking first in the conference in sac bunts (28) and third sac flies (15).
The Last 10- The Owls have had their best success this season in April, posting a 6-2 mark entering the weekend.
- Kennesaw State, in fact, is a season-best 7-3 over its last 10 games to pull its record to 15-19 overall.
- KSU is batting .263 during the stretch (87-for-331) with 53 runs. The Owls have totaled 11 doubles, 11 home runs and two triples during the stretch.
- The Owls are slugging .408 and have a .349 on-base percentage over the 10-game stretch.

Richard Lovelady owns a team-high eight appearances over the last 10 games, working 12.0 innings and has allowed just four hits and no runs. Hitters are batting just .103 against him during the stretch and has totaled 11 punch outs.
Up, Up and Away-
Austin Upshaw hit his sixth and seventh home runs of the season over the weekend series against NJIT.
- The sophomore leads the Owls in home runs and ranks third in the A-Sun.
- Upshaw is currently on a four-game hitting streak for the Owls with six total hits over the weekend against the Highlanders.
- He leads the team with 41 hits, seven home runs and 21 RBI while playing in 32 of the 34 games.
- In fact, he is slugging .528, with 11 walks and a .379 on-base percentage.
Helms Leading The Way- Sophomore
Griffin Helms continues his hot bat, entering the weekend with a team-high .415 batting average.
- Helms tied his career-high with four hits in a single game last weekend against NJIT on Saturday, finishing 4-for-5 at the plate.
- The sophomore also hit his second career home run over the weekend against NJIT.
- In 21 games, Helms has gone 27-for-65 at the dish with two home runs and 13 RBI.
