Game NotesSocial Media: Twitter | Facebook A-Sun Tournament Seeding ScenariosWith a win against Lipscomb, Kennesaw State will earn the fifth seed. If the Owls lose to Lipscomb in the regular season finale, then KSU will be the sixth seed in the A-Sun Tournament. Currently, there is a three-way tie between Jacksonville, FGCU and NJIT in second place, so depending on how the final games shake out, the Owls will play one of those three teams on the road.
THE ALL-TIME SERIES VERSUS LIPSCOMBThe Owls snapped a 10-game losing streak to the Bisons earlier this season topping Lipscomb 102-86. Overall, the Owls still trail in the series 6-15.
Nick Masterson had the best game of his career against Lipscomb scoring 24 points on 10-14 shooting. That was also the second game in a row scoring 100-plus points.
Family Basketball ConnectionKendrick Ray comes from a family that has produced its share of talent. Ray's older brother, Allan, played at Villanova and was named Big East Player of the Year his senior season in 2006 after averaging 18.5 points per game. That Villanova team advanced after defeating a 28 win Boston College team in a Sweet 16 game, coached by KSU Head Coach

His sister Brittany Ray played at Rutgers and was their leading scorer during her senior season in 2009.
Kendrick has kept the family tradition a live as he is currently second on the team averaging 18.4 points per game.
Two Guards Lead the WayKendrick Ray and Brown are the highest scoring tandem in the A-Sun and they didn't disappoint against North Florida and Jacksonville. Ray led all scorers with 25 points against UNF and Brown finished with 22 points to combine for 47 in the game. Then, against Jacksonville Brown led the team with 27 and Ray chipped in with 24. It is the ninth time this season that the two have combined for at least 40 points and it was the fifth time they've combined for 50 points.
Overall, Brown is second in the conference averaging 18.9 points per game and Ray is third averaging 18.6. In conference play, the two have stepped it up even more as they are one and two in the standings as Brown averages 20.7 points per game and Ray averages 20.6 points per game.
Efficient Perimeter ShootingKennesaw State leads the A-Sun in three-point shooting percentage in conference play. The team shoots from behind the arc at a 39.4 percent clip. The next closest team is North Florida, who makes 38.9 percent of there threes.
Offense Clicking in Conference PlaySince A-Sun play started, Kennesaw State has increased its conference scoring the most compared to its season average. The team averages 72.8 points per game for the season and is averaging 79.08 points per game in conference play.
During the three game winning streak, KSU scored at a historic clip as they poured in 283 points over the three game span averaging 94.4 points per game.
.500 Record in the A-SunKSU currently sits at 6-7 in Atlantic Sun play with one game remaining in the regular season. The Owls haven't been .500 in league play since the first two seasons the team played in Division I. During the 2005-06 season, the team finished 10-10 in the A-Sun and during the 2006-07 season, the team had a 9-9 conference record.
