They are coming off of their first loss in six games as Lipscomb beat them 93-92 in Nashville.
The 2014-15 A-Sun Newcomer of the Year, Kori Babineaux, leads Jacksonville averaging 18.8 points per game and is second on the team with 4.9 rebounds per game.
Marcel White also is an offensive threat for the Dolphins as he averages 16.3 points per game. He leads the team averaging 5.7 rebounds per game and has 13 blocks on the season.
Tony Jasick is in the middle of his second season as the head coach at Jacksonville.
THE ALL-TIME SERIES VERSUS JACKSONVILLE Overall the Owls are 6-14 against Jacksonville. KSU swept the series last season for the first time since the 2006 season.
Taking Care of the BallThe last two home games, Kennesaw State has only recorded eight turnovers in each game. In crunch time, the Owls have been even better as they only had two turnovers in the second half against North Florida and only three turnovers in the second half against USC Upstate.
Taking care of the ball is something that KSU has been improving on as the season has gone on. Going back, the Owls have had less than 15 turnovers in the previous 18 of 21 games and has had less than 12 turnovers in nine of 12 games.
Two Guards Lead the WayKendrick Ray and
Yonel Brown are the highest scoring tandem in the A-Sun and they didn't disappoint against North Florida. Ray led all scorers with 25 points and Brown finished with 22 points to combine for 47 in the game. It is the eighth time this season that the two have combined for at least 40 points.
One of the two players has led the team in scoring in every game except for three so far this season.
Offense Clicking in Conference PlaySince A-Sun play started, Kennesaw State has increased its conference scoring the most compared to its season average. After the 101 point outburst against North Florida, the team averages 71.42 points per game for the season and is averaging 78.30 points per game in conference play.
In the 10 games, KSU has have shot over 50 percent in eight halves in conference play and has shot over 50 percent in the last three halves of play at home.
Home Sweet HomeThe Owls are 7-6 in the KSU Convocation Center this season matching last season's home win total. With the win against North Florida, it is the most wins at home since the team won eight home games in 2009-10.
Reaching 100Kennesaw State scored over 100 points in three games this season against Reinhardt, Lipscomb and North Florida. That is the most times a Kennesaw State team has reached the century mark since the team played at the NAIA level in 1993-94. When the Owls scored over 100 points against Reinhardt, it was the first time going over the century mark since joining the D-I ranks. The last time the team reached the century mark was in the 2004-05 season in a 103-61 victory over UNC Pembroke on Feb. 19, 2005.
