Kennesaw State is set to take on Mercer at the KSU Convocation Center on Wednesday, December 28 at 7 p.m.

The Owls are 6-14 all-time against Mercer in the series with the Bears dominating the series of late winning the past five games and 10 of the last 11.

Last season, the game came down to the wire as KSU had a look to tie the game, but couldn't get it to fall losing 76-73.

Al Skinner got win number 400 against North Carolina A&T as the Owls defeated the Aggies 68-60. He's currently in his 24th season as a head coach.

Strong Play at Home
KSU's early schedule has been a grind as only four of the first 13 games have been at home. After making it through the tough stretch of road games, now KSU will have a string of home games with three in a row starting December 22. The Owls are 3-1 on their home court this season as they host Mercer on December 28.

After setting a single-season record with 579 points in his first season at Kennesaw State, Ray is closing in on 1,000 career points after 13 games this season.

In his career at KSU and Quinnipiac, Ray has accumulated 976 points with 889 coming at KSU and 87 happening at Quinnipiac.Â

Nation Leaders
Seniors Ray and
Aubrey Williams are both leading the Owls on the court this season as well as top 10 in the nation in a couple of statistical categories.

After posting an average of 28.0 points per game in the Gotham Classic, Ray is fourth in the nation averaging 23.8 points per game. He has posted four 30-point performances, nine 20-point performances and has been in double figures in every game this season.

Williams has been a force on the boards grabbing 10.9 per game putting him 12th in the country. He has seven double-doubles this season already. His career high came against Brewton Parker earlier in the season when he pulled down 20.Â

Fighting for a Cure
For every three pointer Kennesaw State makes this season, Fifth Third Bank will donate $53 dollars to SU2C. After 13 games, KSU has made 77 threes equaling 4,081 dollars for donations.
