Game Preview
The Kennesaw State men's basketball team will play their third road game of the season against UMBC on Saturday, November 18 at 3:30. With a win, the Owls will be 2-2 on the season.

Comeback Time
The Owls fell behind 21 points in their home opener against Brewton Parker before making a huge comeback in front of their home crowd to secure their first victory of the season.

Dating back to the 2009-10 season, Kennesaw State has made seven comebacks when facing a double-digit deficit. The largest comeback the Owls had made prior to the Brewton Parker game was 16 points against Texas A&M Corpus Christi in 2011.

Pulling Down Boards
Aubrey Williams leads the ASUN and is 10th in the nation averaging 14.3 boards per game this season. In the last two games alone, he has averaged 17.5 after pulling down 20 rebounds against Brewton-Parker and then securing 15 rebounds against Bethune-Cookman.

The 20 rebounds were the most in the ASUN since Kennesaw State's Aaron Anderson brought down 22 in 2013 against Florida Gulf Coast.

Masterson of the Three
Junior Nick Masterson's hard work this offseason paid off as he went 11-16 from the field while setting a new career high with 29 points in the team's opening game against Iowa. He was 7-10 from behind the arc tying a Kennesaw State single-game record. He followed that performance up by posting another game scoring in double-digits finishing with 11 hitting three treys against Brewton Parker.

Coming into the season, Masterson had seven games in double figures in his career and already has two this season.

RAY PICKS UP PRESEASON AWARDS
Kendrick Ray was selected to the ASUN Preseason All-Conference team after leading the conference in scoring in league play a season ago and being named Newcomer of the Year.  He was also named to the Lou Henson Preseason Watch List. The Lou Henson Award is presented annually to the nation's top NCAA Division I mid-major player.

Fighting for a Cure
For every three pointer Kennesaw State makes this season, Fifth Third Bank will donate $53 dollars to SU2C. After three games, KSU has made 16 threes equaling 848 dollars for donations.

HOF Inductee
This fall, former start player Terrence Hill was inducted into the Kennesaw State Hall of Fame. In his time at KSU, he helped Kennesaw State win the 2004 NCAA Division II Men's Basketball national championship, while also earning 2004 Division II All-American honors. He was also named the NCAA Division II National Player of the Year.

Post Play Getting it Done
The Owls outscored the Wildcats 42-26 in the paint led by Williams, Johannes Nielsen and Jordan Jones. Combined, those three went 18-21 from the floor.

Williams and Nielsen led the team with 15 points. Nielsen led the comeback for the Owls as he scored 13 of his 15 in the second.

ASUN Championship Final on ESPN & Westwood One
For the first time since 2002, the ASUN Championship Final will be seen on ESPN after spending the past few seasons on ESPN2. The 2017 ASUN Final is set for Sunday, Mar. 5th at 3 PM. To go along with the ESPN coverage, Westwood One will air the conference final for the second-straight season on national radio.
